Properties of Water :
Adhesion - water molecules sticking to ANOTHER substance
Capillary Action - water rises in thin tubes
Cohesion - water sticking to water (Ex. Puddles)
Surface Tension - how difficult it is to break or stretch the surface of a liquid ; allows some insects to run across a body of water

Adhesion -
The water is sticking to the siding on the house.
Capillary Action-
Here I took a picture of a tree because for the tree to grow it must absorb water through its roots. In order for the tree to obtain the water throughout different parts of it ,capillary action must take place.
Cohesion -
Though it may be hard to see , this is a picture of a stream of water against my house drying up from the rain. It formed a mini-river.
Surface Tension -
It is hard to see but there is a small insect that is gliding atop this small stream of water.
